1T4 Midterm Exam

mid-term had started a week ago. but i just had one paper, Calculus two days ago. which turned out to be in the middle between fail and flying colours. the reason is, some questions like the simple Derivative and Limits and Implicit Function, is manageable. but when it comes to Trigonometry, which is i'm really sucks at, i totally blank. even if i manage to get an answer, it is more to getting a red mark for wrong answer.

well, it's my fault, did not finished the Wileyplus assignment earlier. we had the same questions in the exam which we should do in the Wileyplus. So, whoever done the Wileyplus, e.g. Ikram Hakim will have some bonus as they're doing the same type of question, just this one with different figures.

Sure enough, i hope that i will get at least 33/66 in the paper. It worth a total of 40%, which is a whole lot of the final marks.

Ok, now i have to study for next week's paper, Statics and Engineering Strategy and Practice. Statics, the killer subject, i will kill you with my answer!!

p/s: all systems is in equilibrium. so, all students should get the same marks eh?

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
