UK Trip : Log 16 - Staying Home

There's no special things going on today.. Just me and this soon-to-be-cleared-Ikmal's-house.. Summary; Get up in the morning, pray Subh, back to sleep, woke up, ate yesterday's leftover fries, read 1Q84, helped Ikmal cleaned the house, helped Ikmal moved down the two-seat and one-seat sofa from upstairs with help from his landlord's son, Michael, then showered, prayed Zuhr, back to reading 1Q84, a mug of instant Nescafe, continue 1Q84, a mug of instant TeaCino, back to 1Q84, a short nap, a mug of instant Nesvita, prayed Asr, chat a little with Ikmal and Za'ba' when they came home visiting their senior, pyared Maghrib at the mosque with them, back home, write this post, probably finished another chapter in 1Q84, then to mosque or Isya', then had some dinner from Ikmal's yesterday's rendang and 'nasi himpit' or stuffed rice, then another shot at 1Q84 before tonight sleep..

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
