UK Trip: Log 1 - Prepare to Fly

Got a call yesterday from Sunwing.ca; "There's been a delay in your flight. It is now on 1:15pm tomorrow".. Which is today..
Then, we checked the status online last night.. And it's been delayed to 2:34pm..
And when we just checked in 30 minutes ago, the departure time is now on 4:10pm..

Three delays; so much of Sunwing.ca's cheap ticket.. Luckily, there gave us a CAD20 meal voucher and CAD150 travel voucher..
And now it's settled, the luggage was shared (thanks to Acap for taking my luggage in his 25kg portion), we're ready to go..
Now, I'm having some lunch with Rempo, Acap and Cik Dean (oh wait, thanks to Cik Dean for giving us a lift to the airport).. Using the meal voucher of course.. So, free lunch..

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
