UK Trip : Log 7 - Cardiff
It was raining when we arrived at Cardiff.. Neither the heavy rain, nor the small, drizzling rain either.. Kind of between; enough to make walking outside not ideal.. So, we planned to stay inside for a while..

And that's when we found the Al-Manar mosque that we searched online earlier.. From the looks of it, this mosque is new; probably one-two years old now.. A really full-of-amenities mosque; made me thought of Masjid Toronto that we have; but smaller and nicer..

After Zuhr and Asr (jama'), we 'rested' for about one hour and a half.. It's really surprising when we woken up that no one asked us to not sleep or lying inside the mosque.. Soon, we got it; because in the afternoon (pretty much the time we're there), the kids were having Quran classes; reading and memorizing; monitored by two adults.. Some of them loved to play around; but when they're being tasmi' by the adult, they actually were pretty good at memorizing.. Quite shame of myself on how little I am memorizing Al-Quran compared to them young fellas..

Anyway, enough about Al-Manar.. We got out after, walking around Cardiff for some time; and sat down inside McDonalds for a drink (and Wifi) to kill some time.. We didn't have much place to go I guest.. We even arrived to Cardiff Central rail station 40 minutes early and just sat down waiting for our train.. So yeah, Cardiff was just another English town with some famous castle (Cardiff Castle) and other castle-like buildings and some rows of shops of Victorian and Georgian buildings.. Maybe it would be another great town if it wasn't raining.. But, couldn't help it, could we??
