UK Trip : Log 8 - Red Liverpool

And it actually are red; all the historic building; the significant buildings that marked Liverpool as it were..

Thanks to Amir (Fazry's friend from KMB) for being our tour guide for this Liverpool sightseeing.. He brought us towards University of Liverpool building.. Then towards Albert Dock; the famous boat dock in which Titanic was launched..



And then, something embarrassing happened.. Best not to explain it here.. Got it taken care off professionally after..






Anyway, later we went to the Anfield stadium.. Just taking some photos, souveniers, stuff..


That's it.. End of Liverpool tour.. One conclusion; Liverpool is great for its architecture.. Quite amazed how they combined the modern and old (and RED) buildings around and still looks perfectly legit.. Till then Liverpool..

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
