US Trip : Log 1 - Missed the Bus

'Nisyan. The one who forgets.

Totally forgetful. I am to blame. Megabus had sent an email stated that tonight's bus has changed to 9pm instead of 10pm.

That means I've missed the bus. Alhamdulillah, the driver of this New York bus was kind enough to let me into his Toronto-NY bus.

So, changed of plan. Slightly. I've to board another bus from NY to DC tomorrow morning.

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
