US Trip : Log 15 - Trip Ended

9:15pm (last night)

Bus headed to Toronto.


2:30am

Reached Syracuse for 20 minutes break.


5:30am

Reached Buffalo. Next 30 minutes, passed the US/Canada border.


8:27am

Touchdown at Greyhound Bus Terminal, Toronto. That's it. Safely arrived. An interesting trip I would say. Lots of things happened, lots of experience gained.

I don't know when I'll write again. On the next trip maybe. Anyway, take care everybody.

ASME HPV East 2013: Log 5 - Good Ending

We're now on the way back to Toronto, after the Banquet Ceremony at Ferris. The only event today was the Endurance Race, where bike-utilitiness was tested. Whether the bike can go across a S-turn, hairpin turn, downhill, uphill, stop at stop sign, bumps, etc. The new thing the organizer put in this year was that each team must take in and put out a grocery bag (with groceries inside) to a station for 3 sets. Anyway, UofT team did very well in the event. We were a bit slow during the obstacles, but since we have three wheels, there's no need for any of the other team member to be along the course of the Endurance, helping to get the bike up. Well, we didnt actually allowed to do that, as it was against the rules (which was different last year). We get the 1st Place for the Endurance event, with 4 more laps than Missouri M&T and Rose Hulman. The final prize and other prizes were given during Banquet. We got 3rd in Men's Drag, 3rd in Women's Drag, 1...
